2+2 summary
So I spent a lunch hour reading 2+2 threads. That's an hour of my life I'll never get back, but as public service for TP.com members, I can summarize two threads that were 30+ pages each.
1) A respected 2+2 poster claims his mother was falsely accused of using a bot at microlimits at Stars. Many thought his story was bullshit, but there are enough details that it seems unlikely to be a hoax. After initially sticking to their guns, Lee Jones & Stars management is now reviewing the matter 'at the highest levels'. 2) A recent Party $22 multi featured multiple rather obvious bots. Party initially responded with their usual form letters denying any problem, but after repeated, detailed and articulate emails from a 2+2er, he received an email from a human being acknowledging a problem and pledging to investigate. |

Are Bots Not Allowed?
Can you use bots? What is Stars, Full Tilt, and Party Poker's line on these? Does there exist a policy? I wonder..

You should definitely read the Terms and Conditions you agree to when you sign up for poker accounts.... well, at least if you are planning on doing something silly like using a bot, creating multiple accounts, etc, etc.

Thanks for the summary, 2Tone - Saved the rest of us an hour of our lives. If anything notable ever happens over there, I always know I can trust you to fill us in.

poker bot is a program based on pure stats and odds?
Is that right? Takes tilt factor, human emotion, etc. completely out which in theory should be a big advantage.
