Could someone give me the preflop odds of 4,3o beating T,T?
Which is exactly what happened to me at casino weds night. $1/2 ring game at the local casino. 10 seated $2,$2, then I made it $12 with my T’s on my turn. I got 2 callers neither in the blinds or the 2 original bettors. Flop was 4,J,4 rainbow. I was first to act. I threw out $20 in chips, to see where I was at in the hand. 1st guy folded. 2nd guy said, “make it fifty.” I said, “It’s yours,” and threw in my cards. He turned over 3,4o I did nothing wrong here right? Don’t forget the odds. |

roughly 17%
and no nothing wrong, you raised with a big pair. you made a continuation bet on the flop, and folded when you were raised and the board was paired and there was an over card
