Moneymaker played the $200 touney on 1/22/06
lol, that sucks i didnt get to see him play, bad he did pretty bad looking at the results. after winning the 2003 wsop main event, he has not won a big tourney, or make final tables a lot. too bad.

I disagree.
I'm certainly not a Chris Moneymaker fan, but I don't think he's doing as bad as you think:

ah back to this discussion. yes he won the WSOP< yes he is better than people think, but hes still not the player some people think he is. He is worthy of everything he gets for bringing th egame to the millions, the story of rags to riches and whatever, but hes still not a great poker player, he gets staked into lots of tourneis and "not often" does he place. In fact im sure its only 4 placings in major tourneies since the 2003 WSOP win.
lets be fair thats still better than any of us, but for someone with that much press attention and name power surely there must be a time when he will win something else? |

Speak for yourself. I owned his all-in-in-the-dark-every-hand ass when I played with him in the Bahamas. Knocked him right on outta that tourney!

Im not sure if he plays on any other sites or anything. but if he makes his living off of pokerstars, he made less than 50K in 2005. Im sure he plays elsewear too, but I dont think hes doin much better than the average person playing internet poker with a fulltime job. But thats also just the MTT's.
