Tonights Picks
I have several plays for tonight
NBA Lakers vs Knicks: -6. Even with the night off, The Knicks are at the end of a west coast road trip and shouldnt be 100%. The lakers are back at home. They are going to be fired up bc of Phil Jackson's speech the other night, and Kobe Bryant has had 2 bad games in a row, he'll recover for a monster game tonight. I think LA wins big here Denver vs NO -3.5. This line has jumped from -5, to -3.5 to -1.5 and then back to -3.5....... usually that confuses the hell out of me...and I think this is due to Kenyon Martin being ? for tonights game. Regardless I like Denver here. Toronto vs Philly +5: Philly is a poor road team, and I think at Home, Toronto gets it's first W tonight, or at least keeps it close enough to cover I also loved the Pacers at -6 until I saw the line go as high as 10 and now down to 9.... I think they will still cover, but I just cant give 10 points to a Home Dog..if this goes down to -8 I may buy two points and take it at -6, but more likely Im staying away from this game NCAA Football Strange to bet on mid week games, as there are tons of variables, but I have a pick no tonights game Toledo vs N. Illinois -9.5. I went to school at Ohio State, and met a lot of people with friends who went to Toledo. I began following the school a bit, and they have a talented team...probably the most so in the MAC. I expect this to cover. Last edited by Zybomb; 11-16-05 at 04:27 PM. |

Remember what I said multipled times yesterday about making worthless posts to inflate your post count and my take on all of that?
Well, we are very quickly approaching the point where I start deleting your posts. After that, you get banned. I'm not sure how I can make this more clear. |

I wouldn't ever buy Toronto. They've got a horrible team. The only players that can do anything is Bosh and Rose, and they try to do too much on their own. They have no one to get boards aside from Bosh and basically a non existent defense.
Their GM hasn't made many very good basketball decisions. The only decision I support was the hiring of Mitchell for the coach, but it doesn't matter who coaches if you don't give him the players to support him. I understand his hand was forced in the Carter trade, but he could have at least got something of value instead of getting basically next to nothing. All in all, I'll be shocked if Toronto doesn't get a lottery pick in the next draft. Not that it matters anyways, the gm will find a way to screw up a high draft pick still. |

Charlie Villanueva has been outstanding the last two games. 25+ pts and 10+ rebounds. Look for him to continue this trend. He's a great young player.
