Running Quads...
This guy single handedly rivered me for more than $900 tonight - gutshots, 5 outers (I lose to those all the time), and this, my personal favorite hand of the night...
With that said, I will gladly play with this guy any day of the week. ----- FullTiltPoker Game #282533144: Table Farm (6 max) - $15/$30 - Limit Hold'em - 0:54:11 ET - 2005/11/08 Seat 1: HASITNOW ($270) Seat 2: Grass2112 ($1,682.50) Seat 3: Arcon66 ($464) Seat 4: Abold1 ($3,353) Seat 5: buckskico ($598) Seat 6: Rogue23 ($739) buckskico posts the small blind of $10 Rogue23 posts the big blind of $15 The button is in seat #4 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Rogue23 [2c 2h] HASITNOW raises to $30 Grass2112 folds Arcon66 raises to $45 Abold1 folds buckskico folds Rogue23 calls $30 HASITNOW calls $15 *** FLOP *** [9c 4d 2d] Rogue23 checks HASITNOW checks Arcon66 bets $15 Rogue23 calls $15 HASITNOW calls $15 *** TURN *** [9c 4d 2d] [9h] Rogue23 checks HASITNOW checks Arcon66 bets $30 Rogue23 raises to $60 HASITNOW raises to $90 Arcon66 folds Rogue23 raises to $120 HASITNOW calls $30 *** RIVER *** [9c 4d 2d 9h] [9d] Rogue23 checks HASITNOW bets $30 Rogue23: disgusting Rogue23 calls $30 *** SHOW DOWN *** HASITNOW shows [Ks 9s] (four of a kind, Nines) Rogue23 shows [2c 2h] (a full house, Nines full of Twos) HASITNOW wins the pot ($517) with four of a kind, Nines *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $520 | Rake $3 Board: [9c 4d 2d 9h 9d] Seat 1: HASITNOW showed [Ks 9s] and won ($517) with four of a kind, Nines Seat 2: Grass2112 didn't bet (folded) Seat 3: Arcon66 folded on the Turn Seat 4: Abold1 (button) didn't bet (folded) Seat 5: buckskico (small blind) folded before the Flop Seat 6: Rogue23 (big blind) showed [2c 2h] and lost with a full house, Nines full of Twos |

Ironically, because I didn't want to lose HASITNOW. I was hoping he would lead at the pot initially, so I could check raise, but he didn't. I should have fired first and squeezed him out (in hindsight).
Remember though, you need to look at decisions and not results when evaluating a HH. And in this case, I wasnted to build the pot (especially on the turn) because I was WAY ahead. |
