Default Whoa - $1,000,000...

I just fired up a bunch of poker sites to check out today's tourney action.

Party's $1,000,000 guaranteed tourney is today. The buy in is $600+40, but get this - there are only 650 players signed up right now! They need more than 1000 more to sign up in the next 3.5 hours to break even!

I know signups go crazy at the last minute, but I would think for a tourney of this size, they might not skyrocket as much as we are used to. There may actually be an overlay here. If there is, count me in.

If there isn't.... well, I just might play regardless. I'm in the mood for a big score.

I just searched and searched and searched, and finally found what I was looking for:

---
All Players will start the Million Dollar Guaranteed $600 +$40 Tournament with 1500 chips.
---

That sucks. It's better than 1000, of course, but still.

How long are the levels? Anyone know? Even if they are 15 minutes, that means after just one hour the blinds will be 50/100. So you'll be down to 15 BBs if you didn't pick up (or lose) any chips for the first hour...

I registered, so I guess I'm playing.

Typically, I don't do very well with these big party tourneys. The structure really gets me... If I start off with a few big hands, I'm a FORCE, but if I'm card dead for the first few levels, I'm usually in trouble.

839 registered now. 1:50 left to register.

Pushing 1100 players now, with 50 minutes left til registration closes. There might not be an overlay after all....
