And it always happens on Party. Aliens run that site, I'm telling you. And they all have giant probes in our brains that suck out our thoughts. |

You need to think positive.
You get pocket As...think "I'm gonna flop quads". It's poker though. That's going to happen every once in a while and, especially online, people will call just for the hell of it. |

Gotta love it.
It probably wouldn't have mattered, but I think you should have raised a bit more prelfop. Also, rather than calling and then folding to a minimum raise behind you, think about raising on that flop (min raise is ok) to find out where you stand. When the guy behind you doesn't go away after a bet and a raise in front of him, you know you're up against AT LEAST a flush draw - THEN I think it's ok to fold your hand. But where you folded, for just $3 more, I don't know that I could be sure my overpair wasn't still good. You could easily be upo against a hand like KQ. If I was the original better, btw, I would have reraised hard for sure on the flop, which would have cost me a bunch more chips. Then again, every piece of advice I am giving here would have cost the person I'm giving it to more money, so what do I know? In the long run, I think those are better plays though. Hopefully Zybomb or someone will chime in. |

You just made me feel a whole lot better about the AA I folded after a single-suit flop last night. I didn't get to see the final cards, but I'm sure I would have seen something similar!
