Default TalkingPoker Post-WSOP $300 Freeroll...

(I'm making this post in hopes of not having to respond to dozens of PMs over the next few days)

If you are new here and are wondering how to get into the $300 Freeroll at on August 16th, read on:

First, welcome to the forum! The freeroll on the 16th is only for people who at this year's WSOP, so if you are new here, you are obviously not eligible to play. The freeroll details can be found in on Page 5 of that thread.

Even though you aren't eligible to play in that tourney, feel free to stick around the forum. In addition to great poker talk, we have special promotions, added money tournaments, and even forum leagues with lots of added prizes fairly regularly. You will be welcome to participate in all of those events, but this particular freeroll is only for my WSOP investors.

This one is the best, IMO. Please note that this is from a brand new user, and not from someone who bought a piece of me.

I won't post his user name, which is STRANGELY similar to that of a previous forum member who owes a bunch of people here money, but here's the message:

Just brilliant.

It could be the same guy, but more likely is just some scammer hoping I wouldn't notice the slightly different username. The thing is, wouldn't it make more sense to pretend to be someone who actually backed me, and not someone who hasn't been on the forum for months - and actually owes people here money???

Who's house?

Phil's house!!

Props to Quint on an epic heads up battle that saw him come back from 2k in chips to take the lead before I finally got lucky a few times to close it out.

GG all, and much thanks to the best forum host out there.

GG pshabi and all the rest. I hope if nothing else, you had fun - at least more than Mayhem and I did.

Coming back from 2k chips to put Shabster down to 4k chips = fun

Eventually losing that chip lead and the match = still fun

Thanks again to TP, and everyone that played.

(I don't have to give LightFungus half of the winnings since we split a share, right? )
