Get back to tables $165 left at 45person with 1/2k blinds and 8 people left...in the small blind $2000 left at 8person with 6 people left...4/8 blinds Out of both on the damn bubble. That just perfectly represents my last two weeks of poker. Absofreakinlutely Awful. *bangs head against wall*

The cat was sitting by my feet. I almost kicked her across the room after I threw my keyboard across the room to the couch.
I haven't seen her in 25 minutes. I'd been running terrible the last two weeks...so I get down to the final 50 or so of a MTT today and get sucked out on...then this happens.

That sucks BAD..... but there is a moral to the story: Have a backup setup in place, so you can be reconnected ASAP.
I figure it pays for itself after needing it once, depending on the stakes you are playing. I have two UPS', a laptop ready to go if needed, and I can even dial in through my cell phone if my network - and the neighbors - are unreachable for some reason. |
