What's with all the min raises ?
I play .25/.50 NL at Poker Stars and I see min raises all the freakin time.
Not sure what to make of the play most of the time. Any thoughts of how to play against min raisers. Example: I raise preflop 4XBB one caller. I CB the caller min check raises. I raise preflop 4XBB one caller. I CB they call I CB turn they min raise. I raise preflop 4XBB one caller who has position on me. I CB they min raise.

Scenario #3 can be anything. Scenario #1 is a little bit stronger, but not much. Secnario #2 is a big hand.
For #1 and #3, it depends on your hand and your read of your opponent - If you have nothing, (usually) let it go. If you have a hand with showdown potential, call and reevaluate in position and maybe call and check the turn unimproved. If you have a big hand or a solid draw or if you think opponent is making a play, go ahead and pop him. |
