How much?
Given frequent outages and the whole PokerSpot fiasco, how much are you willing to keep in an online poker room account? Personally, every time my balance gets over $250, I pull $ out, which leaves me more than enough for the variance in my 2/4 game, without being devastated if one day I signed out to Party and found they had simply taken it all and ran.

How much
I think $200 is enough for me.

Obviously this depends on the stakes you play. I don't sit down at tables with less than $250 (bare minimum), and I usually play 3 at a time.

I've had over a grand before but if it's a reputable site what's to worry about? look at the guys who play 25\50 NL they probably got 100grand online!

As always, risk averse
Since limits are such a factor, I should have asked this as how many session buy-ins are you comfortable keeping in at a time. For me, it is around two to three. I just think since these are off-shore operations with little to noaccountability, I don’t want to trust them to hold anymore of my cash then necessary.
I have no reason to doubt either the viability or ethics of any of the major sites. But that’s what the shareholders at Enron thought too. |

I agree with Tone. I never keep more than $300 in any one poker account. I don't play higher limits online, and if I did, then I would cash in and play.

I usually keep 3-4 buyins in a site. I will take out the excess to Neteller. Quick access if I need to reload or if I want to put some in a new site.
