Am I wrong???
Hey all,
Take a look at this email below (incl. HH) and let me know if I'm wrong. |

I know the cryptologic sites allow going as many bets as possible when heads up, and it is a shame that all other sites don't allow this either.

I'm sure you'll discover they cap it at 5 bets. No biggie. Most Vegas rooms go 5.

Thanks for this. I can't remember if I've ever capped 5th street but I KNOW that the earlier streets the betting is capped after the 3rd raise. Still, very odd.
And the customer service rep's reply was anything but helpful... |

At , betting isn't capped Heads Up. You can just keep on raising and raising and raising until someone gets all in.

perhaps that what it is then - when the two were heads up on the river the capping is removed.
Now, how hard would that have been to explain in the original email response to my email??? |

Very, very hard considering most of the sites customer service don't speak English.

Well, I was able to confirm today that what TP put forth is, indeed, the correct scenario: When two players are heads-up, the cap is removed on any street. I know - I got into it with a guy on the turn with KK. I think we went about 7 bets or so before I blinked and called him. The board was all blanks. He turned over AA. Ah well. I should have known. Fortunately I got most of it right back a few hands later.
