Any thoughts on any games yet? Penguin?

I'll take a look later and let you know if I see any plays...

Okay here we go...

VT -12.5 vs UNC

VT is going to want to come out huge here on ACC opening weekend play. UNC came off a disappointing defeat at the hands of Rutgers. VTs special teams/ defense will account for aleast 1 score here as well.

VT 31 UNC 10

UCLA -27 vs Rice

Rice just plain sucks and UCLA will SCORE SCORE SCORE. This one will be a blowout in a huge way.

UCLA 49 Rice 3

if anyone wants to add their picks, go for it.

Im obviously biased, being an alum, but I've taken Ohio State, and made the spread +3.5.

Im also a big fan of the Eagles and Seahawks Sunday (two road favorites...but still)

Reguardless of the outcome of those two games raod chalk this early in the season is always dangerous, I see where your coming from with those two games though.

RE: Ohio State, I'm not playing thig game simply because I am the only person I know who thinks Ohio St is gonna crush through Texas like a hot knife through butter.

We've got three for today, but in all honesty the way I have been running in games, poker, and well life, I'm almost afraid to take you guys down with the ship here.

4-1 in my last 5 games played, but missed the Cal game horribly, got the Pitt game last night but didn't deserve it, even though I still think I handicapped it well enough, how do you explain Cincy not going for the field goal late in the game when they HAD TO HAVE ONE? Clearly they didn't go for it because I was on it.

Todays plays, fade em if you want:

Auburn -20.5

East Carolina +7

Penn State +8

I'm gonna go find a plastic bag to put over my head now.

I was a little slow, so I missed Auburn, but I got in on Penn State +9 and East Carolina +6.5. That half point will probably screw me, and since I missed Auburn, expect them to win by 42 or so.

Still doing $50 bets. I'll probably go to $100 for your NFL picks.

GL us.

SO far so good Ohio State 7-0 after the 1st...HUGE fumble by Texas Deep, and a key FG miss by OSU. OSU has looked vulnerable against the run, but Texas seems so preoccupied with containing Ted Guinn Jr, they are forgetting about the hidden talent Anthony Gonzalez.....Troy Smith looks great.... keep it up

I really wanted to bet on the buckeyes but didnt... kind of regretting it, I def. know now that it was the right play even if they end up losing the bet.

Auburn 34-0, we're at least off to a good start.
