Anyone having trouble depositing with Intertops?
I deposited Cdn $225, the equivalent of $200 US. I've been credited with a bonus of $25. Wasn't it supposed to be 50%, therefore $100?
Second problem: Only $22.50 showed up as available for play. When I tried to "buy chips" only that amount was available. I'm emailing back and forth with support, but so far they say everything is fine and I should check my account history, but I can't find anywhere to see my account history! The "bank" within the poker lobby only shows me my "Intertops Balance", which is $.50, and the $38.55 that I've worked my $22 up to. The "account" information on the site when I sign in () only gives me the two options for "Payment" (which I already used) and cashing out. So far, colour me unimpressed. |

When I deposited $300 I was given $330 as my account balance, I don't know anything beyond that but hopefully when I play the 750 hand's the rest or the full bonus will be credited. FYI I signed up through TP.

750? I thought it was 700 hands? They'll only pay you up to $100 bonus, not more. Let me check if they've paid me my bonus yet. I cleared it early this morning.
Mathbabe - That's awful news, but everything on my end seems fine. I deposited $200 usd and that's what's in there plus the profit I made. No deposit bonus, yet. I've emailed them just now to find out when they'll add the bonus. Will get back to you as soon as I have some information of my own. Last edited by bunny; 05-24-06 at 12:00 AM. |

Sounds like MB got a really shitty exchange rate. Don't you deal with US$ for your poker site deposits, MB? I figured you'd put Canadian $ into NEteller (or whatever), and it would convert then.... and then you'd treat it as US$ until it got back to your bank account.

That's what I usually do... I put it on VISA and like any other USD purchase, it shows the USD amount and the Canadian conversion on my VISA bill.
However, Intertops defaulted to Cdn (I guess from my address) and I didn't see any obvious way to change it. I figured it didn't matter. Did the other Canucks here (besides Bunny, who has been fine) have any problem? Now that I'm reassured that I'm not just missing something obvious, I'll email them again demanding to know where the other 90% of my money is! |

Mathbabe - Did you get an immediate response from Intertops? Reason I'm asking is, I've sent them 2 emails regarding my bonus deposit (which I haven't received, yet) and no news.
TalkingPoker - When reaching our 700 hands, don't we immediately receive our bonus deposit (like other sites) or does it take a few days? I think Mathbabe is on to something here. Is it possible you have an old ad? |

Completely and utterly confused
Anyone have a LINKY with the bonus requirements?
From what I'm gleaning here its: A) 175 raked hands (for my 100$ deposit) B) Raked hands count only at the 1/2$ table Is this correct? LINKY to the bonus requirements?????

Here it is from the horse's mouth. (Straight from Intertops)
Terms & Conditions: 1. The player is eligible for this bonus only with a minimum deposit of $50 or more. 2. The bonus is active only on the first time deposit. 3. The bonus amount would be credited to the player's account after the raked hand criteria is met. 4. Maximum bonus is $100. 5. This offer is exclusive only to Interlopes and cannot be used for IntertopsCasino.com or Intertops Sportsbook. 6. By accepting the bonus, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions and the wagering requirements mentioned. 7. Discrepancies, if any are subject to the final decision of Intertops.com Wagering Requirements: 1. The bonus would be released only if the player meets the wagering requirements which is 7 times the bonus amount in raked hands. 2. The bonus is valid for 30 days only. ------------------ They stipulate only 1/2 tables will be counted towards rake. But I and a couple others have tried it with lower limits and it works. GL |

I must be stupid.....WTF does that mean??
So, 100$ initial deposit = 50$ bonus after playing X number of hands that produce a rake of 350$? 1/2$ table or any blinds?

No, it means for a $50 bonus, you need to play 50 * 7 = 350 raked hands.
This is pretty standard. Party requires 10x, for comparison. |

1 rake per hand = 350 raked hands

You added that. $1/$2.
Jesus - just go click the link. Or at least read the post I already linked to, instead of making me retype it all here... |

I read your link:
Second paragraph, first post of . Hence my 1/2$ question. I just noticed the last part of Bunny's post so I guess the answer is yes, 1/2$ table and no, I didn't add it.

Everything is spelled out in the original thread AND the link you need to use is there as well:
For a $100 deposit, it would be 350 raked hands (50% * $100 * 7). |

DISCLAIMER
It also appears as though raked hands are counted at all limits, as long as rake is $0.25. I have 64 raked hands and have been playing Micro PL games.

Good to know, but I wouldn't count on it for sure, since their terms clearly say otherwise.
