Default Pot Limit vs N/L

Give me your views on which one you prefer?

How about for a beginner?

I'm asking this cus I just entered by mistake a Pot Limit Freeroll (which is taking forever, I might add)@ Royal Vegas btw; but I think I'm doing much better than when I play N/L; weird huh?

Edit: It might also be thx to Pshabi's poker video clip, good teaching tool.

Remember, pshabi's clip was for 6 max LIMIT. This is a HUGELY different game than full rin NL (or PL).

IMO, PL is more complex than NL. It's played a lot differently from NL than most beginners assume. Building the pot, etc. Even bluffs are much different.

- odiewand66 sitting in seat 7 with $5910.00

- Rookette22 sitting in seat 10 with $2170.00 [Dealer]

odiewand66 posted the small blind - $640.00

Rookette22 posted the big blind - $1280.00

** Dealing card to Rookette22: 5 of Spades, 5 of Clubs

odiewand66 raised - $2560.00

Rookette22 called - $2560.00

** Dealing the flop: 4 of Hearts, 8 of Spades, Queen of Diamonds

odiewand66 bet - $1280.00

Rookette22 went all-in - $890.00

odiewand66 shows: Jack of Hearts, 9 of Spades

** Dealing the turn: Jack of Spades
