I'm playing in the weekly qualifier to the $1M freeroll at UB. Before the tourney started there was a dealer message pop up (about 5 minutes before the start) stating "Blinds are going up to 300/600 with 75 antes". I chuckled at it and said to Nikki "hee hee. UB sent a message to the wrong table".
Then the tourney started - at 300/600/75!!!!!!!! Only at our table. To top it all off, during the first hand, there was a message stating blinds were going up to 400/800/100 next hand! And they did!!!
Fortunately, I got all-in first hand and won it, doubling up and then adding another 1500 to my stack.
I quickly sent off an email to support with URGENT! in the subject line. It works for Stars, so hey, why not? It wasn't too long after that our table got broke and we moved to a normal table with 10-20 blinds. The nice thing was, those of us that survived at the table left with VERY nice stacks.
In my email to them I had asked that the points I paid for the daily qualifier (50) be refunded to me so I could try again for next week's. After I got moved, I sent a follow-up email rescinding that request as I have a good stack now
