What do you mean "for really high limit players?"

I think this is a great policy they have come up with. It encourages people to play on their site (which is money in their pocket - I have NO IDEA why the other sites don't want my action), and if I do manage to win, they are giving me the option of using the money towards preliminary events or just taking the CASH. If I'm not representing them in the WSOP, I certainly wouldn't expect to qualify for their $10 million promotion or anything like that. I think this is perfectly fair and plan on playing some satellites there now - especially that big 100 seat guarantee one - That's going to be one hell of a tournament.
