my last attempt
ok this is my last attempt to try to tell kkirk why playing a NL game with a total short stack is bad. Lets go through this hand Kkirk, you try to get cute with K-T ok bad move but oh well. Ok this guy raises pot $1 with JJ and you call another not so great move but lets move on so pre-flop we have 4.75 in pot. Ok on flop you hit the best you could hit with top two pair unless trips came out of course. Ok that other guy puts in a bet of $1.50 and you reraise him $3.50 that puts 9.75 in pot and him having to call 3.50.
Lets stop here for a minute, what kinda raise is that its not even close to half the size of the pot but since you are so shortstacked at table you cant make a big raise, if you had more money at table you could make a better raise. Look at the board 2 suited and a straight draw out, with that raise I would put you on a wired pair, I wouldnt put you on the K with a raise that small. I would figure you were semi bluffing the flush or something. Look at what he has to call $3.50 to make $9.75, I would call also.
ok now to the turn with 13.25 in pot, Ok now he bets $2 because he probolly thought you were on that flush draw or that 9 might have given you the open ender. I figured at no point did he put you on the K bets tooo small. ok so now we got 15.25 in pot and you re-raise all in for your last $5.20 meaning there is now $20.45 in pot and he only has to call $5.20 and by how he played it I believe he thought there was a good chance he was ahead.
honestly Kkirk not to try to be mean but because you were sooo shortstacked and couldnt make a strong raise I think this guy thought there was a good chance he was ahead against someone trying to draw out.
