Ehh.
Sergio deseved to win, especially the way he fought. His back was against the ropes all night (which Peter didn't really take advantage of), and even though he's not a power-boxer, it seems like he's always running at
very high-octane.
Peter was just outmatched. He doesn't seem like a power boxer either (like Jesse or Anthony Basante?), so he would have to out-box someone who's quicker and (I think) stronger than he is. Didn't seem like it was going to happen. I wanted Peter to win, but I realized during the 6th round, he was going to need a knockout. Oh well.
I don't know why they keep talking about a rematch... Peter was outclassed. he was practically falling on Sergio to stand up. I guess they're only saying that because neither one was knocked down.
Is there going to be another season?
BTW: I was even more surpised to see Jesse lose to Gomez.
