I only play 1 table at a time. Always nl, whether its cash games, sit and go's, the multi sit and go's, or multitable tournies.
I tried multiple tables, but then found myself losing information. I find it very important for my game to be paying close attention to everything. I also take copious notes, and i cant imagine doing that on 3 or 4 tables at once.
Basically, i only play 1 because i want to pay full attention to it...how many pots is so and so entering, for how much usually, is he cold-calling, raising, re-raising.... and post flop play especially...who will call a medium size flop bet, without obvious draws out there, to try and hit his probable overs.... I try to figure out who likes to play small-ball throughout the hand, and who is gonna blast away....try to follow every action cause it always paints a picture, and that info comes in very hand in later hands that i'm involved in
I always try to have a gameplan for every guy i might be involved with during a hand, and i lose important parts of the picture if i'm playing other tables...
I'm probably just repeating stuff most of you do, but i can't do it as much as i want to while playing multiple tables. And while playing only 1 table might on the surface lower my ev per hour, i feel it doesnt...in fact i believes it increases my ev per hour because im playing at my top level the whole time
