I need to be up early tomorrow (for the third straight day - having the house painted), so no poker for me tonight.
Here are my numbers/graph for June.
Please note that other than donking around with you guys after our TP tourney that one night, every hand I played this month was at 1/2 NL. In hindsight, the decision I made was the best decision I could have made. I cashed out most of my online roll and moved down in limits. I had never even seriously played 1/2 NL before (a few hands here and there) - when I made the transition from limit, I moved straight to 2/4. All I can say, is my God, what a goldmine. Not only are there so many bad players to surround yourself with (there are always multiple good table to choose from), but since the stakes are so much lower than I was used to, getting sucked out on and losing a buy in or two or three was no big deal for me. I still don't think I'm much of a tilt monkey, but I will admit that I've been able to stay much more level headed, calm and collected at these levels.
In theory, if I ran exactly the same at higher limits, I could probably make more money - even factoring in better opponents. But for now, I'm happy right where I'm at. It's much less risky/stressful, and that's what my poker career needs right now. I'm not saying I'll never move back up, because I probably will... but for now, I'm happy being a 1/2 baller. I should have followed shabi's lead long ago.
OK, enough rambling. More graphing.
This is nothing compared to the big time guys here, but I'm still happy with these results. I ran especially well towards the beginning of the month, and pretty badly toward the end. Overall, I'd say I ran slightly above average for the month, which is about 10 times better than I was running earlier this year.
(And yes, I know this graph sucks, but my Poker Grapher is broken right now and I don't feel like messing with it)
