I find that if you're having success on sitngos, no need to join ring games. I feel people in ring games are a bit more skilled, the ones in sitngos think they're going to the WSOP or something. Seriously, I played one Saturday at UB, and this guy was saying how he was thinking about going to an O8B satellite tourney. Then I knocked him out and he came in last LMFAO.
Ax, now I'm no holdem expert, but it really depends on the situation. If there is a lot of callers and you have them suited, you gotta play them. But I would not raise with anything less than AQ or pair of 10s down, but I am tight like a virgin in holdem, and probably not the best person to ask. But I agree with ChipFish, the best way to get your raked hand requirements on any site would be to play O8B. Nearly every hand in that game is raked.
