No - that's not what he meant. What he means is that when you use the medals, you are going to get "charged," just like you would if you used points in the store. I assume (?) you'll still come out ahead (even after RB) if you save up enough medals for a bonus or tourney entries or whatever, but I've honestly never done the math.

If you're around for the freeroll, that's the way to go.... but that's going to hurt your RB too. If there are 300 people in a $30,000 freeroll, that's $100 coming off the top of your MGR. Of course, that's really only costing you $27 and your EV is $100 (more if you are good at the poker), so it's a good deal...

My problem is I'm never around to play poker on Saturday afternoons. I wish they were like Monday nights or something.
