I'll start...

After sorting out my here earlier today, I grabbed a bite to eat, bought some ridicullously overpriced groceries, and then headed over to the Rio.

I met up with New Guy shortly after I got there, and before I knew it, we were sitting in a $2/$5 NL cash game. I don't even remember what time it was.... maybe 4:00? I don't think I left my chair until 9:00 when I finally got up and went to grab something to eat. New Guy left the game right around then to head back to L.A. for a few days (he'll be back). When I left the table my stack was around $2200, I think. I had reloaded for a couple hundred in the beginning, so I was in for $700. Nice.

After dinner, I ran ridiculously cold and gave some back (I literaly did not scoop a single pot - not even the blinds - for an hour and a half), but I still left the table up over a grand over all when I quit. Finally, a good session.

The thing is though, I felt like I was playing GREAT poker. New Guy was there for a lot of it, but without seeing my hole cards, he doesn't know the whole story. I pulled off some SICK bluffs and I made a few (4 or 5?) really big laydowns. Folding JJ when I KNEW my opponent had QQ on a T high board (he had exactly QQ), folding TPTK when I KNEW my opponent hit his straight on the turn (he showed it), folding flopped trip Ts vs. New Guy when I KNEW he had a T with a bigger kicker (he did), and so on. It felt pretty good to be that in tune with my opponents.

I also ran pretty good for a short period there. I had AA twice all day, but they came about 5 minutes apart - won smallish pots with them both times. My biggest hand was when I won $10 from New Guy on an all black flop (boo-yah!) and flopped he nuts (broadway) at the same time. I led out, a dude raise, New Guy flat called (with a pair + nut flush draw), I reraised, dude shoved, New Guy though and then folded, my hand held up and I scooped a BIG pot.

Ballers Mayhem and sjay were partying it up at the Bellagio all day, but stopped by just as I was playing my last orbit. I think they were out past 6 AM against last night. Oh man, these kids today - I'll tell ya!

No firm plans for tomorrow yet... I'm leaning towards playing in a $540 tourney at the Venetian on Wednesday though, and then Thursday is the 6 man NLHE WSOP Event that I've been looking forward to for about a year.

Time for sleep.
