Default Messin' with the trolls

One evening this past week I'm playing a 1500 FPP SNG for a seat at the 'Stars Sunday Million. 90% of the time I win a seat, I unregister and take the T$, and that is my intent with this one.

Down to 4 left and I'm a pretty big chip leader and the trolls show up asking who wants to sell. My stock response is usually "go away troll" but this time I decide to take a different approach. Remember, the seat is worth $215. I don't have the chat logs, but this is a close approximation.

Troll: Who wants to sell?
Me: I will
Troll: I'm XXXX on AIM
Me: No. Do it through support.
Troll: OK. How much?
Me: $360

(note:this number is not out of thin air. OPR shows my MTT ROI as 68%, so I multiplied $215 by 1.68 = $361 and rouded off. So, math-wise, thats what the seat is worth to me)

Troll: What!!? No Deal. Ever.
Me: Fine. Buh-bye.
Troll: Standard is $190
Me: Standard is irrelevant, its worth $360 to me.
Troll: Why would I pay more than the buy-in?
Me: why would I sell for less than my EV?
Troll: So you're playing in the Million
Me: No
Troll: Then the seat's worth $0 unless you sell it.
Me: ROFLMAO, learn the rules of the site before you start annoying people.
Troll: Huh?
Me: Go away troll.

OK, I did say it eventually. A bit later this transpires:

Opponent: KURN you drive a hard bargain.
Me: He left, didn't he?

FYI: I won the satty, unregistered and have currently played 2 $30 + 3 27 seat SNGs with the T$. One bubble, one 2nd for $216 real US dollars and T$149 left. "Standard" my ass. I'll sell W$ at a discount, but unless you really need funds for a cash game (or you just really need funds), there's absolutely no reason to sell T$ for less than face value. Sort of like lammers at a tourney.
