Well, I've decided to begin to take a shot at some WSOP sattys. I was going to go through Stars for tournaments, but I had about 700 on Full Tilt (from the 400 that Mayhem swapped with me), so I figured I'd look at their structures also.
I played some 2/4 NL (6 max

) (yes Im crazy playing with 1/2 my TILT money on the table but whatever) for 2.5 hours tonight and came up $29 dollars. Thats right $29!

. Afterwards I started looking around for WSOP sattys. Apparently Tilt was Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday ones. The Tuesday ones work best obviously since it's my only day off.
I see a 24+2 SNG with the winner getting a seat in the WSOP qualifier (naturally Sundays qualifier, which I didn't realize till after the tournament started). Well I managed to take that down, so Im in the real satty for $26
Interesting hands include: KK vs QT all in preflop. Flop QQx. Turn K

and 44 (me) vs KK and AJ in a standard raised pot. 54J flop. AJ moves in KK moves in I call

And the final HU hand where I am a slight chip leader. 54, flop comes 552. I check opponent bets 5200 all in (blinds 80/160) I call he flips K2 and I win.
Whether or not I'll be able to make Sundays qualifier I don't know (I may download TILT at work, and hope things die down before 9 (i usually am completely done by 10 on sundays) so I can play there.... otherwise I figure I'll jus unregister and get T$ (Tilt does have those right?)
Regardless, I am going to be making an effort to win a WSOP seat this year (unlike last year). My boss is a poker fan, so he'll have to understand giving me the week off
Here's to hoping I see some of you down there (and I get there myself)
