Scenario #3 can be anything. Scenario #1 is a little bit stronger, but not much. Secnario #2 is a big hand.

For #1 and #3, it depends on your hand and your read of your opponent - If you have nothing, (usually) let it go. If you have a hand with showdown potential, call and reevaluate in position and maybe call and check the turn unimproved. If you have a big hand or a solid draw or if you think opponent is making a play, go ahead and pop him.
