Dead Man's Hand is actually two pair - Aces and Eights. Not just A8, like many people often suggest.

I know. That's why I said "cousin of" ...

But now the real question...

What was the fifth card in Hickock's hand?

GTDawg 12-18-06 02:43 PM

That depends. Some people think the shooting happened after he discarded and before he drew his fifth card.

Of course, Deadwood the show and Deadwood the place have the 9:d: as the fifth card.

The more you know.

I once heard Q:d: , but who really knows.
