Just finished a 180 sng at Stars. I think its the 5th I've played, trying to improve on a 4th place, and 3 bustos.

So trying to make final table, 5 handed, 10 left;
I get all the $ in PF w/
A9s<89o (flops 2 pr.)
QQ<44 (back door flush)
then I get knocked out w/
AQ<A3

3 hours of good, solid play to almost double my massive $4.40 buy-in. Of course, I know, 'thats poker'.

In 180s, 1 4th in 5 tries works out to an ROI of about 170%. Why do you need a pep talk? You're off to a great start.

Ya but man man man. Another top finish would have been soooo nice. I really felt like I played better this time. And I guess the fact of playing for 3 hours, til 3am, for 4 friggin bucks.....

It actually feels slightly better to be able to rant here. I made my wife listen to my bitching this morning, and she does a good job of acting like she gives a shit; but it just isnt the same. sigh

I am planning on trying a deepstack a shot at some point. I bet those are even better/worse. I am sure you can play for half a day and bubble or barely make anything there.
