Was thinking Wash. @ Indy under 48.5.

Also, Jacksonville @ Houston as a survivor play.

Thoughts?

UNDER 48.5 looks like a good play...

As for the survivor play, I havent looked at the matchups yet to see if there is a better play.

I do know that Houston is due to pull off a upset eventually...

They actually match-up well against Jax and pretty much all of their games have been fairly close.

This is the hardest week I have ever seen for survivor pools. The Jacksonville game has the biggest speard (10), and other than Indy (-9.5), the highest spread is 6.5 :( .
I am looking at Denver in Cleveland, and I would prefer not to touch that one.

after looking I would prefer not to touch any of these games but this is the beauty of survival football...

JACK/HOU looks like the safest play for sure...

SD vs KC looks like a decent one as well... SD could end up scoring 35+ pts but I hate to bet against KC at home but SD is def. the better team.

Jax v. Houston is now off the board due to Leftwich's status.

For this weekend, I'm taking the Carolina Panthers +3 1/2 and the over in the Iowa v. Michigan game.

I really dislike the under 48.5. I see this game being very similar to the Washington vs. Jacksonville game which had 66 points scored. Also seeing that noone knows which Redskins team will show up on Sunday I would stay away.

I like The Jets -3 over Detroit

as well as Atlanta +3 over Pittsburgh (are the falcons really a home dog here????)
