Stars Sunday 215$ Question

I just won a seat to the Sunday 215$ on Stars.

I haven't ever played anything that big and I was wondering...

Sell or play.

Recommendations based on folk who have played it before?

Cashman is offering up 195$ for the 215$T.

If you've never played in a big buy-in tourney before then I'd play it... they are fun. Then after you play a couple you can start to decide whether it's better for you to sell $Ts. Another thing you could do is save that up to play WCOOP satties.

If I don't forget about it, I'll play it this week. I'll give you $200 for it if you are looking to sell it.

Play it.

*thinking thinking thinking*

If you frequently play tournaments, you're basically putting up $215 of your available bankroll to play. Not saying this is necessarily bad, but one option you should definitely think about is just using the T$ as bankroll money for tournaments. If I get T$ I use it for $27 Turbos.

I primarily play tourneys on Stars and ring games on FT. I saw that line in the email from stars:

If you choose to unregister from this tournament your account will be credited
with $215.00 Tournament dollars. Tournament dollars can be used to buy into
any tournament.

Could fund alot of tourney's as I usually don't play in anything above 10$ minus the very ocassional 20$ 180.

register at cashman brians site. ii am registered there and i get $205 for 215 t$ .or it may be because i use his logo.. idk

I would give it a whirl...

if you feel like your tourney game is in top shape right now and have been playing well this would be a good time to play it, never know what could happen...

if your tourney game is running bad, just withdraw and use the T$ then.

actually i dn wut i'd do if i was u.
depends all on ur BR and how willing u are to put in more $ if u go broke and all that.
if ur short and dont want to invest more $, i'd use the $T for different tournaments. only thing i def. wouldnt do is sell the $T for less cash.

Depends on your bankroll.
And if you play tournaments.

studiopet 07-23-06 10:28 AM

All good points.

I don't think I want to toss those T$ into one tourney. I've gone ahead and un-registered and I will use them for lesser tourney's (but bigger buy-ins than I regularly play).

I may just roll them into the 20$ 180's and see how that works out.

Thanks for the input.

I agree with everyone saying it's a personal chouce, but from what you have said, Ithink unregistering and playing in multiple smaller tourneys (ie, 10 $20 tourneys) would be a much better idea than playing in the big one. The WORST idea would be for you to sell the $T, IMO.
