Why would you put him on AJ when you are holding TWO Jacks??? And why would you think even if he was holding that unlikely hand, he would limp from the SB and the RERAISE your raise? That doesn't make any sense to me. His play screams of a trap.

I don't like your play here at all.

kkirk1329 07-10-06 12:49 PM

yea im definatly not raising all in after he has reraised me, i would just call, and on the flop your looking pretty good so maybe push there cuz its all undercards.

studiopet 07-10-06 01:54 PM

Like I said - I would've simply called his RR with JJ. I don't like to risk my tourney life with JJ at this point (and your stack) in the tourney. With that flop, I probably would've pushed. If an A or K showed on the flop - I probably would've beat feet.

But you seemed to fair okay. You'll have plenty of other chances to loose your stack with JJ I'm sure.

BTW - isn't AA favored to win 76% of the time?

eejit101 07-10-06 03:16 PM

nah, you dont read the %s, its 76% for ME to SUCKOUT on it.

thrash1294 07-10-06 03:49 PM

I would of put him on a big poket pair after the re-raise.But If you were looking for a race the allin is not a bad move altough I would have just called the reraise. After the flop you would probly gonna call anyway so nice suckout
NH:cool:

GTDawg 07-10-06 04:53 PM

Yeah...limp re-raise always signals AJ to me...that's why I push...

eejit101 07-10-06 05:40 PM

i dont get the limp, if he raises me, im raising back to see, if he calls, i what is to 3X BB, he then min reraised, yeah i think a call was corrent there, i messed that up. I was always gonna end up all in thought in hindsight, which is why hindsight is a beautiful thing

Talking Poker 07-10-06 07:22 PM

I've read this a number of times and I still don't know what you are trying to say.

In summary: You played it badly. If you know that, great... if not, think about it some more and then maybe try to write a post that at least makes a little sense or uses something that resembles english. Here's a tip: The bold above might be more readable as 3 or 4 sentences instead of one drunken mess.

PunkyChikn 07-10-06 08:10 PM

I'm not really sure what hand someone is going to limp-raise with other than AA or KK....maybe AK, trying to rep AA or KK, but still....

Aequitas58 07-10-06 08:20 PM

I don't know what's better...

1. You putting him on AJ (how long have you been playing?).
or
2. Your immature comments in the chat box.

eejit101 07-10-06 08:21 PM

the chat box thing was pure class i though.

the AJ read was well out.

The play i made sucks
