Nice.... that means it's even better to be a player there already. Usually it's a flat $120 for everyone, but this time, they are only letting new accounts have $50, but hyping it with the 100% wording. Good thinking.

Do stars bonii have time limits?

Any advice for clearing the bonus?
 

I played 100 hands at .50/1.00 yesterday and only earned 5 FPP.

Should I risk moving up to 1/2 to clear the bonus more quickly? Any other tips or hints anyone can give me?

1/2 is gonna be about the same rate. These bonuses dont clear quick till 2/4 at the lowest. 3/6 is really the optimum playing level for stars reloads.

I clear all my Stars bonii through tourneys - that's my favorite thing about them. You don't have to play cash games. You get x points (5?) for every $1 of rake that you pay on the tourneys. In the past, I remember calculating that it took me $120 in tourney juice to clear a $120 bonus, basically meaning I played all of those tourneys juice free.

That was when it was 5x though. Now that it's 7x, it may take a bit longer... but still, I'm going to be playing tourneys there anyway, so I might as well take the free money if they want to throw it at me.

This was what I was figuring on doing to clear stars bonus. The TP league games will definitely help. And since I don't play high stakes, cash games just don't seem a good option.

Interesting idea. (Stupid question - Sit'n'go's are the same as tourneys for the purposes of this discussion, right?)

I don't play NL currently, though, except for the league games. I see there are Limit Hold'em sit'n'go's, but they don't seem to run much.

And yes, MB, SNGs are tourneys (as opposed to cash games).
