Which is the best Poker site and why?

I love Pokerstars. because of the quality and amount and $ range of the tournaments what and why is your best poker site.

MAYHEM45 04-18-06 03:43 PM

Party Poker. Soooooo many dumbasses waiting to hand me money.

JTown15 04-18-06 03:59 PM

Pokerstars because it offers the best tournament schedule, and is clear and easy to follow. I also like the FPP program, as it gives you a chance to qualify for tourneys that you wouldn't normally have a chance to play in.

JDMcNugent7 04-18-06 07:49 PM

Stars, hands down.

Nikita 04-18-06 08:02 PM

All I really play is tournaments, so I have to go with Pokerstars.

Aequitas58 04-18-06 08:03 PM

End of thread.

PShabi 04-18-06 08:27 PM

Seriously, why?

JD? Why?

Party = worse players
Party = better cash game selection
Party = rakeback

But Stars does have 3 WSOP champions, I'll give them that.

Even if you really believe Stars is better, still, "hands down?"

"Hands down" makes me lolz!!!!

mrpotto 04-18-06 08:43 PM

whats the easiest way to set up a rakeback acct?

I play at pp. Thanks in advance. A link would be fantastic.

I can't decide.

I enjoy Stars for the tournaments and Party for ring games.

But Party has a plus...Cute n sexy Shabi's there 24/7! lol ;)

Aequitas58 04-18-06 09:08 PM

Stars has...

Better support, better software, better promotions, better response time, better tournament selection, better tournament structure, better game selection, and an EQUALLY as fishy player base because of those

...3 WSOP Champs.

Aequitas58 04-18-06 09:09 PM

Wow.

bunny 04-18-06 09:09 PM

Calm down..I'm kidding.

Can't I make a joke around here?

thrash1294 04-18-06 10:12 PM

as far as support stars all the way.
I like rakeback so for me right now its world poker exchange !00% rakeback
the downside so few players:cool:

PShabi 04-18-06 11:09 PM

look up

Boobie Lover 04-18-06 11:11 PM

Am I the only one that thinks Stars regular tournament structure is putrid?

As for the best site, I voted for Full Tilt. I love table mining 16 tables at once, plus the periodic $300 reloads keep me happy.

bunny 04-18-06 11:24 PM

What $300 reloads? Share please.

Boobie Lover 04-18-06 11:45 PM

Deposit $600 or more, get $300 worth in bonus money. I believe they have a current reload going.

JDMcNugent7 04-19-06 12:36 AM

Stars is better cuz of all the reasons AEQ mentioned and their freakin Interface kills parties - it is so easy to 8 table and easily know who bet wut and where u are in the hand - where party is much more difficult to read IMO.

Talking Poker 04-19-06 01:07 AM

Yes they have them somewhat regularly:
"Starting April 15th, make your first redeposit while you have no bonuses pending, and we'll give you a 50% bonus up to $300."

=

Of course, nothing beats that first deposit bonus of $600 (100%).

Talking Poker 04-19-06 01:15 AM

Stars is prettier, yes. Stars has better support, yes. Stars has better tourneys too.

But if you are a cash game player looking to MAKE MONEY, I'm with shabi - The Party is at Party.

If a pretty interface is more important to you than $ in your pocket, then by all means, play (your cash games) at Stars.

Van_Broke 04-19-06 03:18 AM

Another vote for Stars, although I'm making a deposit on Party now too because I'm primarily a cash game player and hear the games are real soft. I really like Stars Interface though, so far I can't stand looking at any others for more than 1 hour. I think Aeq pretty much covered the reasons Stars owns.

Akverno 04-19-06 05:47 AM

I love the way stars works, and the tournament fields are huge. Plus they have the best customer service I have ever seen.

GeoffM 04-19-06 10:44 AM

I go with Party, the O8 players are much less disciplined and skilled. Also, while Stars does have better tournament structure, it is difficult to find a tourney in that cluttered box.
