PP Qs in MTT

I have a quick question. Is it possible/correct to throw away PP Qs in a MTT if you have a below AVG stack, about 15-20x BB. You lead out and get re raised. Is it usually correct to throw it away against a random opponent?

yes, depending how below average you are.

like I said, 15-20x BB when avg is about 25-30xBB. If you raise it to lets say 4x BB leaving you with 12x BB it is hard to play other than just moving all in. And you are awfully close to the danger zone of 10x BB where you really must move all in or fold.

hey

I fold PP all the time depending on how high the pair is and what position im in if you keep 5,5 in early position your just crazy. You call one bet then all of usuden its raised and re-raised wow you have to pay 3 bets to a 2 outer well you wasted a bet.

??? I would say Qs are another pocket pair. they are a top 3 or 4 hand in Hold Em. And this a NL tourney...

I say push it in baby!

QQ is a monster against the average online re-raise hand... especially when others are trying to bully your short stack. In most situations, the re-raiser will have something like A9 or 77.

So I think you should go for it, unless the re-raiser is a genuine rock, of course.

Push

I would definatly go to the flop at least! If he pushed you all in pre-flop and you had not invested too much money then I might consider folding, but if it is a reasonable bet I definatly see a flop, and do not stop betting unless I see an A or K.

I would say if its a cash game then consider folding but a NL tourney I definatley would atleast call the bet.
