something I cant stand

watching Zybomb's table brought up something I cant stand. Little Phil Hellmuth's, what do you mean Brian you may ask. I mean the people that make comments after a hand like "you slowplayed a set on a flop like that?" or something along those lines. I cant stand these people, whats even funnier is when you are in a $1 torney and they talk like that. My point is why help the fish that missplay their hands? Like they say "dont tap the glass", anyone else have a opinion on this.

I dont care what people say or do....... as long as I keep winning my $$$ I am happy.....

If someone suggests I am misplaying or playing my hands poorly.... I know that I am doing exactly what I should be doing... getting in their head and playing the best possible game!

Play the cards your dealt.... and in most cases, they are always outs... even if its bad luck

BrianSwa 12-25-05 06:03 PM

ummm

that wasnt really the question but thanks for input, the question was informing people that they missplayed their hands not what someone says to you.

Spuddy 12-25-05 06:04 PM

They are just mad that they lost their hand....... who cares what they think as long as you won the pot

BrianSwa 12-25-05 06:05 PM

again

again not the question being asked re-read the origional post.

Spuddy 12-25-05 06:14 PM

Wow.. my bad.... I read that three times... and completely missed that part... must be the egg nog ;)

But really.... cant argue with you.... If people make the bad plays.... "good call", when it really isn't... your going to win more $$$ in the long run....

I had one guy call my raise of 5 x the BB (I held KK)... flop came 5 5 Q, and I raise and he calls.....turn is a rag and I go all in. He calls he has 5 4.

Next hand.... I held Q Q, raised 5 x the BB again.... flop came 4 3 J.... I go all in... he calls with 4 3....

I lost $10 in two hands to his weak hands.... was I mad, YES! But what did I do, sat back.... waited and waited.... and then won $21 off the bugger!

So I much prefer if we people make bad plays! Easy $$$

I just ignore everything thats written. I read the comments and if theres something I don't like I wait for good cards to get them. Usually someone else gets them first which is just as good.

BrianSwa 12-25-05 07:05 PM

wow

another person that cant read the question in origional post......

I give up, forget it.

Talking Poker 12-25-05 10:39 PM

This is a bad idea, obviously. What possible good can come of it?

If you must let your frustration out, let me suggest that you save it for the first guy you see ripping into the fish. Make him the target of your verbal assult...

BrianSwa 12-26-05 07:40 AM

hmmm

wasnt trying to take anything out on anyone just wondering what people thought of table talk like that, that seemed to help the bad player. If it seemed like I was ripping into someone be assured I wasnt.

Talking Poker 12-26-05 10:17 AM

And now you are misreading things... I was saying that the person who rips into the fish is the person who rips into people, not you specifically.

BrianSwa 12-26-05 10:29 AM

my fault, sorry was long night :D

PShabi 12-26-05 10:43 AM

This whole thread is pretty retarded.

I still don't even understand the "question" being asked.

Was it: Why help the fish who misplay their hands?

That seems pretty rhetorical to me.

BrianSwa 12-26-05 10:53 AM

K

the question is about people making comments about someone played a hand even if they arnt in the hand. Like why inform someone that obviously has no idea what they are doing, wouldnt it be smarter just to sit back and take all their chips and let them misplay hands.

PShabi 12-26-05 10:58 AM

yes
