I am sure this has been discussed over and over, but I am new to Ultimate Bet, is that really Hellmuth and Annie Duke playing there or did the site just pay them to use their names and keep quiet about it? I find it hard to bellieve they would be playing at such low limits, and if it is them, will you morons quit asking them REALLY STUPID questions? Was just watch someone who is supposed to be Annie Duke get asked if she traded poker lessons for butt sex with Ben Aflek, I mean come on people, get more creative than that.

Edit to add= And how do I get to play Phil Helmuth, my life won't be complete till I win a hand with 2-7 against his KK and send him off screaming.

In Helmuth's book, he says that is the only site he plays on, so I'd assume that is him. Annie Duke runs freerolls there which I am sure she enters with under her name, so that is probably her too.

Hellmuth owns a piece of Ultimate Bet. As part of the deal he signed he is obligated to play there a certain number of hours per week. You can play with him at his table.

He plays those low limits as an advertising tool. Not for financial gain or because he is broke. He will also play in the big no limit game from time to time, which is where you can find affleck losing tons of cash

Hellmuth also played on PS last yr during the WCOOP under the name #1_lucky_one or something like that.

Yea, I remember that, the chat box was moving faster than you could read it, everything from "good luck" to "F off"

Someone posted on RGP that Helmuth was apparently "playing" under his UB name at the same time he was holding a reading at Barnes & Noble the other day so I am somewhat suspicious, to say the least...

not saying they were wrong, but how am I to know if they are?

haha would love to go up against phil low limits (mostly because i wouldnt have much to lose) and put a few bad beats on him. then i'd have to barrade him with taunts, and i just dont know what crazy phil would do.
