Affiliates must be scrambling

Think of all the affiliates who make fucking "doctor money" by sitting there and answering emails all day who are filling out Home Depot applications right now.

They are obviously scrambling.

However, there is hope on the horizon. I've read some affiliate posts at various sites and actually talked to my rakeback provider via email.

Apparently, there is some hope that rakeback may be becoming available at the new Party network. My affiliate said they are "ironing out the details" and hope to be able to offer rakeback soon.

I've heard this a couple different places.

Keep your fingers crossed. If this happens, Party will OWN online poker. As if they didn't already.

Enjoy! ;)

Empire still has idiots.

MAYHEM45 10-09-05 08:03 PM

LMAO. Ah the Zoo, gotta love those fearmongering idiots.

PShabi 10-09-05 08:59 PM

Yeah, ask Lou. I think I'm one of them!!!

Well, I'm pissed but not afraid. I have a job!!!!

MAYHEM45 10-09-05 09:07 PM

So was I until I woke up this morning, realized I was drunk last night and was overreacting. Withdrew my money from Eurobet and Multipoker (goodbye rakeback). Got into my neteller safe and sound.

I'll probably still play at party, but will wait till they have another bonus to lure me back. Rakeback was kinda a big deal to me, but Ill live. Feel sorry for multipoker though, as theyre most likely out of work in a couple weeks. Really liked them too.

On another note, look how many freaking players are on at party tonite. 63k last I saw!!

Looks like they know what theyre doing after all.

I'm going to keep some on Empire until the dust settles. We're going to be getting rakeback at Party. But I'm not touching the account until that is made available.

MAYHEM45 10-09-05 09:50 PM

I can see why you're staying on empire. There is still a decent amount of holdem tables to choose from. Being an O8 player, it's a rough time right now. Only one table running at the lowest limits, full of tight, very good players. The one fish that shows up with a small buyin gets eaten up in five minutes and then blinds are passed around for an hour till the next one swims along. No fun for me.

At least I still have Prima.

One request for you rake-backers: If and when Party offers the ability for affiliates to give rakeback, GIVE ME A CHANCE to get your business. Why support some stranger when you could be supporting me and this forum? If you play a lot, I imagine I will be able to offer a very competitive rate.

MAYHEM45 10-09-05 10:19 PM

I was just about to PM you TP.
I will definitely sign up through you when the dust settles.

Do you think we will be able to get rakeback at Party, if we already have an account? Will we probably have to set up a new account somehow?

Talking Poker 10-10-05 12:52 AM

I would guess you would need to set up a new account, yes.

I wonder who I signed up under years and years ago.... Actually, I think it was that Tell A Friend bonus, so quite possible NO ONE has a piece of my rake. So sad.

PShabi 10-10-05 01:26 AM

TP,

You better start moving because I just got an email from my rakeback dude saying he's got a deal with Party and he'll be email links tomorrow.

Talking Poker 10-10-05 02:03 AM

What kind of deal? I'll contact them.
