How dare they!

Party down for 6+ hours, screw that. I was going to clear my bonus today.

ChipFish 10-08-05 05:18 PM

Keep an eye open for any guaranteed tourneys when they re-open...
That goes for the skins too, they are also down.

Talking Poker 10-08-05 05:45 PM

Very good idea...

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 07:08 PM

Back up, with blackjack???...

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 07:16 PM

It also seems that the skins have tables independent of partys tables.

This could be very bad...

Can someone else confirm this?

EDIT: Most likely this is caused by the skins not having software updates available yet. Im still holding my breath though.

PShabi 10-08-05 07:16 PM

Guess so. Not on Empire though.

PShabi 10-08-05 07:21 PM

I don't know if anyone realizes but right now, the skins have tables INDEPENDENT of Party. Yeah, you heard me.

Empire and Party share no tables and others are reporting that Eurobet doesn't share with Party, but does with Empire.

This is bad, bad, bad news. Looks like Party is saying fuck you to all of us with rakeback on other sites.

I might cry.

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 07:24 PM

2 posts up my man. Get with the program :D

PShabi 10-08-05 07:24 PM

Whoops, didn't see that. lol

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 07:28 PM

If your hypothesis is correct, I think everyone on this forum is gonna need a big group hug :( .

If it really is the case, Party is really just fucking itself, and pretty much the whole online poker industry in the long run.

nflchad 10-08-05 07:33 PM

You can now 8-table on party. So that makes it all better.

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 07:42 PM

8 tabling at one site without bonus or rakeback is pointless to me.
I have 800 dollars in bonus to work off in Multipoker, and only 1 table running in my given limit right now, full of whores like me  . Umm, no thanks.

PShabi 10-08-05 07:44 PM

I'm going to start drinking and then log on to interpoker. sigh.

PShabi 10-08-05 07:57 PM

Lmfao

Check this out:

Are they desperate?

PShabi 10-08-05 07:58 PM

This is a welcome change, but I don't care.

MAYHEM45 10-08-05 08:07 PM

Side bets? Cheese and Rice! WTF Party!

Talking Poker 10-08-05 08:52 PM

Does anyone know for SURE what's going on? At least as far as the skins go?

At a glance, it seems Empire has about half as many tables of my limit running as Party does right now, so I can live with that...

This Side Bet crap is ridiculous, but the deal making is nice - and long overdue.

PartyGaming Plc
New platform launch

PartyGaming Plc (“PartyGaming” or the “Group”), the world's leading online gaming company, announces today that it has taken a further step towards establishing a new fully integrated PartyGaming operating platform. This platform will, on launch, offer a variety of different games but with a common systems architecture allowing each of its nine million registered PartyPoker customers to use a single account and a shared purse across the Group’s gaming brands.

As part of today’s development, the Group has moved the PartyPoker.com brand and all of its players to the new platform.

Historically, PartyPoker players have shared the same poker-only system with players from each of the Group’s four white label poker clients or “skins” (being Empire Poker, Coral Eurobet, Multipoker and Intertops). Following today’s move, PartyPoker players will now play on their own private tables and benefit from a number of new and exciting products that are exclusive to the new platform. The new platform includes non-poker games such as Blackjack, as well as added features to the poker product such as Side Bets and Deal-Making in poker tournaments. Once the fully integrated platform is launched in the first half of 2006, players will then be able to click through and play on PartyPoker, PartyCasino and other new PartyGaming products that are currently being developed, all using a common account and a shared purse.

The skins’ poker players will continue to have full access to the existing poker system. They will also now benefit from the release of several new product enhancements comprising “beginners’ tables” – these include “micro-limit tables” and low buy-in tables – and $50/$100 and $100/$200 tables. PokerNOW.com, which was acquired by the Group earlier in the year, will continue to operate on the existing poker system with the skins.

Commenting on today’s announcement Richard Segal, Chief Executive said:

“We are on track to deliver our exclusive Party-branded integrated platform that will include additional products and services, enabling us to focus on optimising cross-selling opportunities. We believe that today’s development is an important step towards cementing together the inherent strengths of all the Party brands and is in the best interests of our customers and shareholders. In conjunction with this exciting development, we will continue to maintain and support the poker system we provide for the skins.”

Talking Poker 10-08-05 09:07 PM

Ok, that sucks.... especially for those of you who have rakeback on the crappy skins and not Empire....

Talking Poker 10-08-05 09:12 PM

2+2...

Damn...

I'd like for us to have 2 or 3 or even 4 times the activity we currently have here, but I'm glad we're not as big as 2+2. The amount of time it takes to get through ONE THREAD, let alone stay on top of the entire forum.... I can't even imagine.

ChipFish 10-08-05 09:16 PM

$5000 freeroll on Party
Starts in 13 minutes about 1100 seats left.

Edit to add: this is actually free... No partypoints required.

lightfungus 10-08-05 09:49 PM

I agree, I dont have the patience to get past the 3rd reply on that place. I much prefer it here.

nflchad 10-09-05 11:19 AM

RB on Party

ZeeJustin as well as my empire rakeback provider have both implied that party will be bringing back rakeback. They are also allowing 10 tables now.

MAYHEM45 10-09-05 11:58 AM

What about me and every other person on the planet who already has a party account?

PShabi 10-09-05 12:39 PM
