That was (not) fun....

I just dropped over a grand playing $10/20 6 max with some of the worst players I have ever seen. By "worst," I of course mean "unbeatable."

I love when they call down with no hand and no draw and make bottom pair to beat my AK on the river. Or when they hit their gutshots, or their runners, or whatever. Of course, I missed most of the flops, and when I did hit, I'd end up with the second best hand (sets no good here, my friends). And clearly hell would freeze over if I made a straight or flush draw even once tonight.

I should have made a good $1500 at those two tables. I know it's a part of poker and I should be thrilled that they allow people with major learning disabilities and people who can't even spell the word M-A-T-H to play 10/20 online.... but it's still frustrating sometimes.

That single session wiped out all but $50 from my previous three. Gotta love that.

Ok, I'm over it now.

</End Rant>

Hand histories.

That is going to get expensive

I should just know this by now, but I'm continually surprised at the high limits that you'll still find such weak players. I've got to think that there are plenty of sharks just waiting for these guys to have their lucky streaks end, and when it does, that is going to be damn costly.

Glad you had the prior sessions to pad the loss TP. Is this at Full Tilt?

Im glad Im not the only one who destroyed his previously built up bankroll in one session! Sucks man. I don't know how idiots play 10/20 and keep their money.

You don't want to see them. Believe me.

Party, actually.... Logging some hands towards my $150 (you know, 7.5 BB) bonus.

Talking Poker 09-03-05 01:57 AM

They don't. They have their lucky runs (like tonight), and that's enough to keep them coming back for a while, but eventually, they will lose it all. It's just math.
