Spyware

I just ran ad-aware for the first time in a while and found a microgaming hkey thingy. Anybody heard of specific sites that have this in their software?

Because since the last time I ran it the only sites i have installed are Noble and Doyle's. Just curious.

Here's my question: What exactly does that registry entry do? Is it a big deal? Is it even a small deal?

I can find out specifically what that is for, but I will say all spyware is a bad thing, a very baad thing.

Spyware vs. Adware

I've posted this about Noble a bunch of times now ...

I don't believe Noble comes bundled with spyware, defined as any program not knowingly downloaded specifically designed to steal personal info, record keystrokes, etc.

I do believe Noble comes bundled with adware, defined as any program not knowingly downloaded specifically designed to serve advertisements.
