Question

I recently posted a bad beat smackdown I laid on someone. It was horrible and I will not defend the play. However I think it is worth a thread to ask a question. How do you figure in the player? We all are yelling at my play as extremely bad because we know he had trips. Excluding the flop call, how is the turn play if he has J7 (very possible in 25/NL but not with Geek) and thinks I am on a draw and wants to make it expensive? In that ideal situation I have upwards of 18 outs. Do you lay down 18 outs? Is there a point where it is worth making that call? Just wondering what people think.

I say its very possible to make a call here since it could be some fish but like you said you respect this Geek guy and know he is a good players.

but I agree with you with you could easily have 18 outs if they just have like J7 or something.
