Dany Heatley Sentenced
 

3 years probation. Quite frankly I'm disgusted by this. Personally, nothing short of at least a year in prison seemed fair to me. If this was any of us, we'd be behind bars. Any thoughts?

He's the one that got into the accident and killed his teammate right? If so, I think that is an outrageous sentence.

You would think he would at least get neglegent homicide.
but the parents of the other player forgive him and said it was an accident.
I live in atlanta and the turn they went around at 80mph has a sign that says curve 35 mph. Thats just meesesd up

im not really surprised by this decision at all. we are talking about the american justice system, so results like this are commonplace for the rich and famous.

i think that he should have gotten some time, but the fact is the worst punishment for him is probably having to think about the fact that he killed a teammate and friend. that is much worse than any jail time that they could have given him.

Snyder's parents forgave Heatley and asked for him to get no jail time.
