Well.. Here is a good one. Pre-Flop. I have about 2K. The blinds are 100/200 or something like that. I have AQ. I am raised pre-flop, I re-raise, expecting a fold, but I get 2 people and I am all in.

The cards flip and it is AK vs AQ vs 88. So I am looking pretty bad. Until the flop. QQx. YES! Oh Yeah! Its my Birthday! K.. Umm.. Thanks not a good card. River K. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WTF! Why do the Poker Gods Hate me so! I actually had a FEW bucks left so I went all in with Q-10, and was dominated by KQ. No Help.

Stop confusing me with the facts. Was I not a 90+% Favorite after the flop? Did the Poker Gods Not Shit in my face! I mean it would have been easier to take if I had flopped nothing and been beaten, but getting setup to be around 10K, with 52 people left, and a GREAT shot at the final table and then having that dashed.. now that must be the essence of a bad beat.

Sure, you were a favorite after the flop, but that's not when your chips went in. When they went in, you were a huge dog. Justice was served. The flop just mocked you along the way.
