FTP Bank Transfer Withdrawal

I cashed out a month ago and this wasn't an option for me. I see it is now. Is it an option for everyone? Have you guys used it?

It says processing is done in 10 days. I find that hard to believe. I was getting my checks in about 7 or 8 days before and it claims 15 days for those.

Any information is appreciated.

I thought it was 20k minimum for ftp bank wire transfer. No idea though since I've never done it on ftp. Did bank wire on stars a couple times though and it took 4 days or less each time.

Err, perhaps that is not what bank transfer is?

JDMcNugent7 09-24-07 01:16 AM

i sent an email to and cashed out >20k both times and it took 5 days.

melioris 09-24-07 09:18 AM

according to that thread, there isn't a minimum amount. The 20K is for bank wires, which is a different option.

Talking Poker 09-24-07 01:26 PM

They still haven't offered this option to me.

While it would be nice, checks get here in a little over a week on average, so that's not that bad.

Anyone know whether checks are faster from Stars as opposed to Tilt?

MAYHEM45 09-24-07 07:33 PM

I have instadebit available now. I think this is the Canadian equivalent. 8k max withdrawal per day. Testing it out with 5k right now, TR when it hits my bank.

PShabi 09-24-07 10:41 PM

This transaction is still "processing." I think it said processing was 24 hours, so I'm not tripping yet. However, I went back to the cashier>withdrawal option to see for sure about the 24 hour processing period and the option to withdraw via bank transfer isn't available to me anymore. I haven't received any email like I usually do from them either.

I was skeptical about this being quick enough and went through with it anyway. We'll see what happens.

PShabi 09-25-07 10:30 PM

Still fucking processing and no email to even acknowledge I've made a request. :(

I knew this was a shit idea.:talktothehand

Talking Poker 09-25-07 10:39 PM

I have check requests process for 72 hours or more... and they still got here in < 10 days total. Once this is done "processing," I think you'll have the money in your account, so it will be all good.

MAYHEM45 09-26-07 03:48 AM

5k hit my ID account, now should be 5 business days before it shows up in my checking account.

PShabi 09-26-07 07:40 PM

Got an email saying the request was approved. They then go on to say, "Funds transferred electronically should be available in your account immediately." However, the funds are not in my checking account and the cashier itself says 10 days after approval. I'll be patient but it's confusing.

BITCH BETTA HAVE MY $$$

PShabi 10-01-07 12:54 AM

no $ yet

Talking Poker 10-01-07 01:22 AM

You suck at bank transfer.

MAYHEM45 10-01-07 02:41 AM

Got my 5k today, or probably friday, but didnt check till today. 5k american = 4900 something Canadian. fuck you USD.

hc422709 10-01-07 07:50 PM

aaah, it feels so good to be Canadian!

Talking Poker 10-01-07 08:42 PM

Isn't the money you have online (stored in U.S.D.) worth less (and less and less and less) than it used to be? Seems like that would be a bad thing for you Canads.

bunny 10-02-07 10:10 AM

Glad I withdrew most of my online money, except $ I had in UB... (darn it)
when the American dollar was much higher than ours. Guess my time away wasn't a total loss after all.

PShabi 10-06-07 01:11 AM

I had a bad feeling about this. I fired off an email and got this back:

Hello Phil,

withdrawal.

There is currently a technical issue which is delaying the processing
of
some Bank Transfer withdrawals.

We apologize if you have not received your Bank Transfer, and are
working hard to resolve this situation as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, this may take 3-6 weeks. In the meantime, please know

Well, that sucks ass.

Can you cancel it and have them mail you a freaking check?

bunny 10-06-07 11:46 AM

Agree with TP. Why not cancel the transfer and have them send you a cheque (since that's processed within 15days)?

ps: What kind of name is *Taddy*? ...wonder if it's a male or female name.

PShabi 10-06-07 09:51 PM

I've read elsewhere about assholes just like me, who aren't getting their money. Others have reported being shot down by FTP when asking to reverse the transaction and just get a check. I've already been "approved" so that means tough shit for me too.

PShabi 10-06-07 09:54 PM

OMFG, this is copy/pasted from a post made by a rep of FTP on 2+2. Classic shit here that ranks up there with any Party Poker CS folly from back in the day.

"I've been told that someone hit the wrong button and enabled the option for everyone when we still weren't quite ready to open it up fully. It's still in beta and we're slowly expanding the list of people who have the option. If everything continues to go well I'm hopeful we'll be able to open it up for everyone within a few weeks.

Sorry for the tease!

Doug"

Fildy 10-06-07 10:22 PM

lol misclickaments

bunny 10-06-07 10:37 PM

Quit being so hard on yourself. Seems they are the real assholes and not you.

I'd suggest you continue sending them your email trying to convince them to switch you to the cheque transfer.
