I wouldn't really call it a suckout. I mean:

1. He had you beat preflop when you both put money in.
2. You had him beat on the flop and neither of you put money in.
3. He had you beat on the turn, when you put all your chips in.

That'll teach you to slowplay ;)

junYUN 01-29-05 06:41 PM

i shouldnt play this game stoned, i didnt realize he already had made a straight. i only saw when the six came off "duece to six" haha

chipfish i recant

ChipFish 01-29-05 08:00 PM

Yes that was me.

correct, it was a position raise. now that I thought about this. With your stack and my stack, you should have let it go or just call it. 5-9o/s is not a hand to protect your blinds with.
ChipFish: calls 400

Nice slowplay.... unfortunately didn't work out.

YES! got what I wanted here.
ChipFish: raises 400 to 800
Small raise to keep you on the hook.
junYUN: raises 3735 to 4535 and is all-in
And I am money!
