Holidays Bonuses?
 

I actually just started playing on-line this past summer (and thank goodness I did :-)), so I was just wondering if you guys are aware of any sites that offer some special bonuses around the holiday season. Sites I have played on are:

Pacific Poker (too slow, free chip set for me though :))
Party Poker (not currently playing)
UB (softest low-limit Omaha/8 games around)

I have been interested in trying out another site, and it would be cool to get another 500 chip set.

Shipping/brokerage fees for chip set to canada?
 

GeoffM, I noticed you're from Toronto... I'm from the Vancouver area, and am trying to get hooked up with one of those free chip sets... which Pacific referral site did you go to and did you have to pay extra shipping/brokerage fees for getting it shipped to Canada?

One of the free chip sites I've visited will only ship to Canada via UPS without declaring it a gift, and I'm worried that I'll have to pay $40+ just in customs fees which would make it not as worth it.

How'd you get a free chip set from pacific?

It wasn't from Pacific. It was from an affiliate promoting Pacific.

Oh ok, because I didn't think pacific offered any chip sets. But I have heard of affiliate deals.
