$5000 Forum Freeroll - Friday 10/29, 8 PM EST
 

In the Suggestions section, we've started talking bout having a TalkingPoker.com Forum private tourney some day. We are definitely going to do that some day, but I want to hold off for a while.

In the mean time, there is a $5000 freeroll that every one of you is eligible to ply in this Friday night. It's hosted by and is for players from all sorts of forums.

Follow the link at the top of this post for all the details. I won't be able to play in this, but I hope some of you can - Represent!!! How great would it be if someone from this brand new forum took home the title?

Post in this thread if you're playing - I want to know who to root for!

I might be able to sneak out of work early, but it will have to be a game day decision. A huge thanks for the opportunity, though. People were slamming on freerolls the other day. Yes, the play is ridiculous. But then again you have the chance to win real money ... for free. How could that be a bad thing?

Exactly. Freerolls aren't usually my thing, but I think they are great for people who want practice and a chance to boost (or start) their bankroll.

Friday nights I tend to be out at the bars. I hope we can have one sometime on a Saturday afternoon, that is when I play most of my poker.

i had to work, so unfortunately i couldnt play. hopefully ones in the future will be a better fit for me.

any more of these coming up? I though these were for new players only?
