This feature is cool, but you have to have a huge monitor to take advantage of it and I checked with Intel last night and mental processor upgrades to handle that kind of action are expensive. I've only got a 486 brain right now... :D

ChipFish 11-02-04 11:13 AM

Well, lets' get a few things straight shall we?
Maybe you can play 6 tables at a time, but I sure as hell can't.
I have enough trouble with 4 going, and am optimally happy with three.

GeoffM 11-02-04 11:26 AM

I think it's time to upgrade anyway. Hell, I have a Pentium 3 and I get impatient with the load time sometimes, I don't know how you survive with that.

eddo31 11-02-04 11:26 AM

i wish i had a monitor that would let me play three or four at once, instead i just have my laptop that cant come close to handling that.

it does sound like a neat feature though.

BlibbityBlabbity 11-02-04 11:35 AM

Too be clear, I was saying 486 BRAIN, not computer......Fast computer, slow brain (or at least too slow for 6 games at once :D ).

Note the wording!

You CAN play at 6 tables at once.
You SHOULD do no such thing. Multitabling two, maybe even three tables, is fine for clearing bonuses, but I just don't think it's possible to be making that many correct decisions simultaneously.

brokeagain 11-02-04 11:13 PM

no, you need 16x12 resolution

brokeagain 11-02-04 11:16 PM

yes, as a matter of fact, you can and..........

brokeagain 11-03-04 12:17 AM

no problem kid, glad to help

BlibbityBlabbity 11-03-04 10:45 AM

I assume you mean 1600 x 1200 which IS a big monitor. SOME 19" monitors and most 21" monitors supprt it, but smaller ones typically do not. Laptops with larger screens also have this resolution.

Personally, I think the 4 table window is enough for me, but if you can handle 6 at a time more power to you.....just DO NOT hold up the game playing more tables than you can keep track of as this ruins the game (and hurts the site if it is widespread) for everyone.

cheers :)

lol

sarcasm is apparently hard to read online..

GeoffM 11-04-04 07:55 AM

Ya, I know, time to upgrade anyways :p.

hackers238 11-04-04 09:07 PM

Playing 6 tables is just insane... I don't like to play more than 1 at once, because I feel like I miss out on the action... you could almost say i dont care about the money...

Kidd7138 11-05-04 08:51 AM

I really don't see any reason why I would ever want to play 6 tables at once. That's just way too many games to focus on at one time. The most I would really want to play at once is 2-3 games. You can still focus on all of them without getting crossed up or confused. I can't even imagine trying to play 6 different hands against 6 different tables all at the same time.
