Casino Bonuses - all the info you need to get started (long)

Disclaimer - The information provided is to be intended as a guide only. You should check the Terms and Conditions for each site prior to depositing for two reasons:
1. I may have made mistakes.
2. The terms and conditions may have changed.
My standard clearing procedure is to bet 3-5 hands of $10 blackjack at a time, playing textbook blackjack. On the Cryptologic and no-risk sites, I usually bet $25 a box as that way, I can clear it faster, and if I drop down to my intial deposit, I simply cash out. If you don't have a large bankroll, bet $5 or $1 a hand - you won't clear them as fast, but there is also less risk of you busting out. I do not chip up or down although I do not see any reason why you shouldn't.

At ALL times, you should play textbook blackjack, splitting and doubling when you are supposed to. If you feel the need to be adventurous or you have a gambling personality, you are wasting your time. You must be switched on, and play with ZERO mistakes. Care should be taken as different sites have different button layouts.

The casinos I have done are listed in alphabetical order - pick and choose the ones you would like to do. I recommend doing the no risk casinos first, followed by the pure bonus casinos, and then, when you have done all those, do the sticky bonuses. Take care with the sticky bonuses - they can be tricky.

You absolutely must have a verified account - if you don't have one yet, get one and get it verified. Neteller is the bomb. Seriously.

Some of the British cryptologic sites don't let US players open new accounts at their casino departments. If you find you are having trouble opening an account, open a poker account and then use your poker username and password to enter their casinos.

If you find a mistake in this guide, please let me know about it so I can update it. If you find or hear of any other profitable sites, let me know. I am getting through a number of new casinos and will post here once I complete them, so bookmark this page and check back if you clear all the ones below. If you have any questions at all, send me a PM or an email at .

Good luck with your future casino bonus whoring.

Note: Most of the Cryptologic casinos are risk-free play, so make sure you know which ones are risk-free and utilize that fact, i.e. don't keep playing if you drop down to your initial deposit point if you don't have to. Withdraw that money, and move on to the next casino.

Industry Watchlist
Note: I have been prevented from opening accounts at these casinos - however, you may want to look at them as their promotions were solid when I tried to open accounts at each.

Don't Bother
Note: These casinos either don't allow blackjack to clear their bonuses, or their wagering hand requirements are too high to be mathematically profitable over the long term.

Casino Bonus FAQ

I cut and pasted this from another site and put it in my notes. I forgot which site it was so cannot attribute it - sorry. It's not my work but it's a good summary of FAQ's.

Casino Bonus FAQ
Q: WHAT TYPE OF BONUSES CAN YOU GET?
A:
Sticky Bonus
The casino will give you a bonus that is for playing purposes only. It cannot be withdrawn from the casino.
Example: You deposit $100 and receive a sticky bonus of $100. You play out $100 and try to cash-out, but you can not. Why? The bonus is removed from your cash-out ($100 bonus - $100 cash-out = 0) On the other hand, this bonus allows you a larger range to win with. Just keep in mind that you have to win over the bonus amount to cash out.
100% Match Bonus
The casino will give you a bonus that is the same as the amount you deposited. There is a minimum and maximum amount you can deposit in order to receive this bonus.
Percentage Bonus
This one is fairly straight forward, if the casino offers a 20% bonus and you deposit $100 you will get a $20 bonus. You receive whatever percentage they offer for the amount you deposit. Again, typically limits apply.
No-Deposit Bonus
Sometimes casinos do give bonuses without a deposit. However, these come with the strictest of rules and regulations which must be abided by or you can forget about receiving any winnings.
Deposit Bonus
This is a special bonus for depositing via preferred method. Most casinos will give you an extra bonus for depositing via NETeller, PrePaid ATM or FirePay. Keep this in mind while figuring out your wagering requirements.
Frequent Player Bonuses
This is for regular members of the site and the size of the bonus is often in relation to how often you play and deposit. Sites will occasionally give special no strings attached bonuses to regular players in appreciation for their patronage. Most sites also give special bonuses to regular players during holidays.
Win if you Lose Bonus
This one is tricky for bonus hunters and is great for the casinos. You can deposit any amount over a specified amount of time (let's say a weekend) and you will receive a percentage of the amount you lost for a bonus.
Example: You deposit $500 over the weekend and lost $200. You have $300 left in your account (typically you can not cash out before receiving the bonus) and you request the bonus on your $200 lost. If the bonus is 30% you will receive $60 which you may be able to cash out immediately (depending on the terms and conditions).

Q:WHAT ARE BONUS TERMS & CONDITIONS?
A:
Wagering Requirements
This is the amount you need to wager in order to cash out your winnings and/or bonus. The wagering must be in games that the casino deems expectable. (see excluded games, below)
Example: If you deposit $100 and your bonus was $100 you then have $200 to play with. Say the casino has a wagering requirement of 10X the bonus + the deposit. That means you have to wager 10X ($100 bonus + $100 deposit) or $2000. If you deposited via NETeller and you get an additional bonus of $10 then your wagering requirement may be $2100 or it may be $3100, depending on how the site figured their wagering requirements. If you have a question on this it's best to check with the customer service department of the site to know for sure.
Now, if you win $100 on your first game and want to cash out – find out if you will lose your deposit or just your bonus by writing to their customer service department. Often you will only lose your bonus but you can keep your winnings, making that cash out worth it!
Excluded Games
Roulette and Baccarat are almost always excluded from all wagering requirements. In other words, playing roulette or Baccarat will not go towards the $2000 mentioned above. This does not mean that you cannot play and win in Roulette or Baccarat, it just means that whatever bonus you received will likely be deducted from your winnings upon cash-out (check with the casino you play with for further details).
Check the terms and conditions for the site as well as the bonus rules and regulations for any additional games excluded from the bonus programs.
Carry Over
Carry over means that even if you lose all of your deposit and bonus you STILL have to fulfill your wagering requirements on the last deposit and bonus before you can cash-out the next deposit and bonus.
Example: You deposited $100 in September and received a $100 Bonus. The wagering requirements were $2000, only you decided to play commando style and lost it all after only wagering $1000. The same casino offers you another bonus in October and you deposit another $100 and receive another $100 bonus, how much is your wagering requirement? $3000. Why? You still have $1000 wagering requirement due from the original deposit in September that you have not fulfilled.

- 800 Buy-in - 200 Bonus - 4000 to clear - Pure Bonus - Blackjack to Clear - Software Good - Manual Tracking - No Online Support - Won $140 - Withdrawal Time 5 days
- Must meet wagering requirements before any withdrawal.
- Definitely worth doing if you have a larger bankroll.

BrianSwa 02-24-05 05:12 AM

Hey

do most of the casino's also offer firepay as payment method?

drewjax 02-25-05 06:01 AM

A question I am also very interested in knowing the answer to. BTW, where in MD are you Brian?

Charlie Frank 02-25-05 10:33 PM

I believe almost all of the casinos offer FirePay as well as a number of other payment methods. But really, nothing beats Neteller for ease of usage. Neteller is really the way to go.

I've just done another one:

- 20 Buy-in - 50 Bonus - 770 to clear - Pure Bonus - Blackjack to clear (20), PokerPursuit to clear 750 - Software Great - Manual Tracking - Live Support - Won $70 - Withdrawal Time 5 days.
- Must clear 20 before receiving bonus of 50.
- Can clear blackjack for initial 20, but only PokerPursuit, Keno and Slots to clear 750.
- Freecall support.

Charlie Frank 02-25-05 10:45 PM

- 400 Buy-in - 100 Bonus - 1000 to clear - Pure Bonus - Blackjack to Clear - Software Good - Tracking by Comp Points - Live Support - Won $96 - Withdrawal Time 1 day
- Free Call Support.
- Solid program, extra monthly bonuses, RECOMMENDED!
- QUICK payout - same day.

hello

Arnold, If not sure where that is its right outside Annapolis.

omahilo 02-25-05 11:11 PM

Hey Charlie, do you do any autoplay casinos? autoplay is where you can set the computer to bet for you and play the hand for you to clear the bonus.

Charlie Frank 02-27-05 11:24 AM

I only clear blackjack bonuses, so my answer would be no.

I take it autoplay would refer to slots only yeah?

CF

omahilo 02-27-05 12:02 PM

No the guys on 2+2 know of autplay blackjack online casinos where you program the computer to bet whatever it is you want then you can just clear the bonus while you sleep.

Wake up and your +200 bonus and possibly + on your deposit as well.

Charlie Frank 02-27-05 08:47 PM

Wow, I don't even understand how this would work. Do you program your computer to play as per a blackjack card?

I don't know much about programming, so wouldn't have a clue how to do it. I'll check out 2+2 when I get a chance.

cheers

CF

omahilo 02-27-05 11:57 PM

yeah I believe you program the program to place your bet and play your hand out... like the odds chart, you can have the 'autoplayer' play by the odds chart.

I'll look at 2+2 and see if I can recover any of those threads.

omahilo 02-28-05 12:09 AM

here we go

both of these threads mention autoplay blackjack... these guys say they set it up to place like $2 bets before they go to bed, wake up and clear like a $400 bonus. if you can find any info out on this, it would be appreciated. I have no idea personally how to do the BJ bonus stuff but if I could do this on autoplay and make some money while sleeping, Im all for that lol.

Spidey44 03-01-05 10:15 AM

FYI...Brian, I've told you this already knucklehead... Starluck and Planetluck do take Firepay... I just had my money from Starluck post to my bank account. Made $40.50 on top of the 100 bonus! Woohoo!

Vatrlrman 03-01-05 11:09 AM

If anyone on here knows how to play Pai-Gow, I would suggest that game is even easier to clear a bonus than blackjack is. Trust me on that.

Spidey44 03-04-05 06:55 AM

Hey CF... I just heard Reef Club takes WAY too long to clear. Thoughts?

My second cash out just posted. UP $300! Nice!

Charlie Frank 03-04-05 06:41 PM

OMG Spidey...i just cut and pasted this from the Reef Club website.

That's ridiculous - they must have gotten burnt bad when it was only 4x to clear and withdraw. For $200 bonus, have to wager $40,000. Intense.

Its still worth doing for one extremely valid reason - it is risk-free. You can withdraw your intial 200 if you've lost the 200 bonus. I would probably bet 100 per hand with the 200 bonus, and hope to last till 40K is turned over. If down to initial deposit, withdraw and move on to the next one.
